Abstract:
In order to detect commercial segments in a program with high accuracy, this commercial segment detection device 100 is provided with: a commercial segment detection unit 120 which detects one or more commercial segments by comparing the volume of the program and a volume threshold value and generates detected commercial segments which indicate the commercial segments that have been detected; and a commercial segment correction unit 140 which corrects the detected commercial segments on the basis of sponsorship credit display segments, which are segments during which sponsorship credit indicating program sponsor is displayed in the program.
