Abstract:
A commodity recommendation method and apparatus. The method comprises: determining the current geographic position of a target user, and a first path, through which the target user arrives at the geographic position (S101); determining a second path, the similarity of which to the first path exceeds a pre-set similarity (S102); then, determining, regarding each commodity corresponding to the geographic position, the probability of each user who has passed through the second path in history purchasing the commodity, and taking the probability as the probability of the target user purchasing the commodity (S103); and according to the determined probability of the target user purchasing each commodity corresponding to the geographic position, recommending, to the target user, a commodity corresponding to the geographic position (S104). By means of analyzing a path through which a target user passes, when the target user arrives at the current geographic position according to the path, which commodities in the geographic position the target user may need is determined, such that the commodity recommendation accuracy can be effectively improved.
