Abstract:
A communication adapter for transmitting information that pertains to a system being monitored such as a multiple hot water system to a remote management device and collecting information that pertains to the system being monitored, wherein it is made possible to easily specify a place in communication error even in a configuration in which the communication adapter communicably connects to the remote management device via a communication relay unit, and the reliability of an information collection process is thereby improved. A communication adapter 11 is provided with a function for detecting a communication error between the communication adapter 11 and a system 1 being monitored, a function for detecting a communication error between the communication adapter 11 and a communication relay unit 12, and a function for detecting a communication error between the communication relay unit 12 and a remote management device 6.
