Abstract:
A communication adapter (1) according to the present invention is provided with an input unit (12) for accepting an operation that requests transition to a setup mode, a mode setting unit (14) for setting the communication mode to a setup mode when the input unit (12) accepts an operation that requests transition to the setup mode, a character string generation unit (15) for generating a random character string when a connection start request is received from a terminal in the setup mode, an image generation unit (16) for converting the random character string into image data that indicates an image which is difficult for a machine to discriminate, an encryption processing unit (17) for encrypting transmit data to be transmitted to the terminal using the random character string as an encryption key and decrypting the receive data received from the terminal using the random character string, and a communication processing unit (18) for transmitting the image data and the encrypted transmit data to the terminal and receiving the receive data from the terminal.
