Abstract:
Disclosed are a communication cable heating control device suitable for extreme environments and a control method therefor. The communication cable heating control device suitable for extreme environments comprises: a control box is internally provided with an accommodating space, a communication cable is disposed outside of the accommodating space, a heating element is disposed inside of the communication cable, and a tension sensing mechanism is mounted in the accommodating space; the tension sensing mechanism is connected to the communication cable, and the tension sensing mechanism is used to monitor the tension F of the communication cable; at least a part of a temperature sensing mechanism is mounted in the accommodating space, the temperature sensing mechanism being configured to monitor the ambient temperature T. When the tension F reaches a tension warning value and the ambient temperature T reaches a temperature warning value, the heating element can be enabled to load a current so as to heat the communication cable. The present invention can enable a communication cable to function stably for a long period in extreme environments. Moreover, the structure is simple, the costs are low, automatic operation can be performed according to changes in ambient temperature, and the application range is wide.
