Abstract:
This invention provides a communication control apparatus comprising: an acquisition unit that acquires the result of a determination as to whether a predetermined condition, which is related to a connection of a wireless communication terminal to a wireless communication network different from a mobile communication network, is satisfied; and a control unit that, if the predetermined condition is satisfied, performs a control to cause a mobile communication terminal, which communicates via the mobile communication network, to switch an operation mode from a first mode to a second mode. The operation mode is an operation mode for communications in a first wireless communication system supported by both the wireless communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal. The first mode is a mode that the power consumption of which is smaller than that of the second mode. The second mode is a mode that allows the mobile communication terminal to transmit or receive data in the first wireless communication system.
