The present invention is provided with: one or more transmission/reception means for transmitting and receiving a synchronization packet containing time information by being connected to a network constituting a communication channel for the synchronization packet; and a processing means for processing the synchronization packet received by the transmission/reception means. When a second communication channel, which is redundant with respect to a first communication channel, is included as a communication channel to the addressee of the synchronization packet, the processing means corrects the time information belonging to the synchronization packet on the basis of a delay difference between a first communication delay when the synchronization packet is communicated through the first communication channel and a second communication delay when the synchronization packet is communicated through the second communication channel.
