Abstract:
When this user terminal, which is used in a mobile communication system containing a normal cell that supports PTM transmission of MBMS data and a specific cell that does not support PTM transmission of said MBMS data, is selecting the normal cell as the serving cell for said user terminal in idle mode, the user terminal receives, from the normal cell, a connection-establishment message for establishing a connection between the user terminal and the normal cell. In response to said connection-establishment message from the normal cell, the user terminal sends an establishment-completion message indicating that establishment of the aforementioned connection has been completed. If the abovementioned specific cell is near the user terminal, the user terminal sends the normal cell a proximity notification to that effect together with the aforementioned establishment-completion message.
