Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication control method and a communication device. The communication control method comprises: a first network element receiving request information, which is from a reduced-capability terminal device; the first network element processing the request information on the basis of a threshold value; and the first network element sending feedback information to the reduced-capability terminal device, wherein the feedback information is used for indicating a result of processing performed by the first network element on the request information, and the feedback information comprises a cause value, which value is used for indicating a rejection cause or indicating that the threshold value is reached. In the present application, a first network element processes request information, which is from a reduced-capability terminal device, and makes corresponding feedback, such that the reduced-capability terminal device can be prevented from excessively consuming network resources, and the reduced-capability terminal device meets the service requirements of a vertical industry scenario to which the reduced-capability terminal device is applicable, thereby improving the communication efficiency and the utilization rate of the network resources.
