Abstract:
This communication control method, which is implemented in a radio relay device connected to a higher-level device via a backhaul link, includes receiving a failure notification message from the higher-level device, said failure notification message indicating that a failure has occurred in a backhaul link of the higher-level device and the higher-level device has failed to reestablish said backhaul link. The communication control method also includes switching the backhaul link of the radio relay device to another higher-level device in response to receiving said failure notification message from the aforementioned higher-level device, regardless of the radio status of the backhaul link of the radio relay device.
