Abstract:

A communication device (100) comprises: a control unit (140) that determines whether stationary criteria are satisfied, the stationary criteria being criteria for determining whether the communication device (100) is in a stationary state and being used in selecting whether to execute a measurement in accordance with a measurement relaxation method for relaxing a wireless quality measurement with respect to an adjacent cell; and a communication unit (120) that, in response to the stationary criteria no longer being satisfied, transmits to a network a wireless resource control (RRC) message indicating that the stationary criteria are no longer satisfied.
