A communication device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a transmission unit that transmits a wireless signal directly to another communication device. When first positional information is acquired that indicates a geographical position of the communication device, the transmission unit transmits a wireless signal on the basis of a first wireless resource associated with the position indicated by the first positional information. In the case when the communication device is unable to acquire the first positional information, the transmission unit transmits the wireless signal on the basis of a second wireless resource. The second wireless resource is determined by a method different from the method that determines the first wireless resource using the first positional information.
