Abstract:
A communication device including: a transfer means which, when a received first packet is not addressed to the device, transfers the first packet on the basis of a flow table, when addressed to the device, determines on the basis of a value included in the first field of the first packet whether it is possible to specify a forwarding address of the first packet, and when the forwarding address is specifiable, sets the specified forwarding address to the forwarding address of the first packet and transfers the first packet; and a processing means which, when the forwarding address of the first packet cannot be specified and the first packet includes a request packet requesting an object by an object name into which a content is divided, executes a process for specifying the forwarding address of the first request packet on the basis of the object name.
