Abstract:
[Problem] To enable a communication device that has received a response frame to identify a BSS to which a transmission device of the response frame belongs while ensuring downward compatibility. [Solution] Provided is a communication device that transmits a response frame, and is provided with: a generation unit that generates the response frame including information used to identify a BSS to which the communication device belongs or information used to identify the communication device in and after padding bits defined by IEEE802.11; and a transmission unit that transmits the response frame.
