Abstract:
Provided is a configuration which enables confirmation of emergency information viewing results at a receiving device, such as a TV, which is the end point of the emergency information. A data processing unit of the receiving device, such as a TV, that receives and outputs emergency information generates an emergency information viewing results report that records viewing results information on the emergency information, and transmits the generated emergency information viewing results report to a management server, for example. The data processing unit generates, in accordance with the CDM (Consumption Data Message) format, an identifier of the emergency information output by the receiving device, and an emergency information viewing results report recording the output time information of the emergency information. In addition to the output time information of the emergency information, receiving device position information, emergency information transmission origin information, etc. are recorded in a CDM.
