Abstract:
This communication device, which is used in a wireless communication system, comprises: an encoding unit which generates encoded information by attaching a parity check bit to each of a plurality of partial blocks in an information block and encoding the information block to which the parity check bits have been attached; and a transmission unit which creates a transmission signal from the encoded information generated by the encoding unit, and transmits the transmission signal. The parity check bits are used for a parity check, on the reception side of the transmission signal, on a plurality of candidate sequences obtained by decoding the encoded information.
