Abstract:
A communication device is equipped with: reception units (405, 406) which receive data from other communication devices and obtain reception data; a data storage unit (110) which has a data region managed by a file system, and a temporary region which is a region outside the management of the file system and which is allocated a fixed logical address; and a processing unit (401) which writes the reception data to the data storage unit and which operates in one of a first start-up mode, which starts following a start-up request generated inside the communication device, or a second start-up mode, which starts more quickly than the first start-up mode following an externally input start-up request. While in the second start-up mode, the processing unit writes the reception data to the temporary region, then copies the reception data written to the temporary region to the data region when data reception is complete, and deletes the reception data from the temporary region after the data is copied.
