Abstract:

Disclosed is a communication device provided with: a channel condition determination unit (207); a topology determination unit (208) that classifies a communication partner device (1x) into a first group (1G1) if detected channel characteristics meet a standard and a second group (1G2) if not; a frequency band control unit (210) that, on the basis of whether the communication partner device (1x) was classified into the first group (1G1) or the second group (1G2), selects between a first band (101L) and a second band (101H) that partition the entire band (101A), the second band being higher than the first band; and a communication unit (202x).
