Abstract:
This communication device is provided with: a reception unit that receives a packet signal; a timing-identification unit (251) that identifies the symbol timing using a correlation-computation result obtained by performing a correlation computation on a short-preamble signal in the packet signal; an FFT unit (204A) that performs a fast Fourier transform on a long-preamble signal in accordance with the symbol timing; a division circuit (261) that computes subcarrier channel characteristics by dividing the output signal from the FFT unit (204A) by a known frequency-domain signal corresponding to the long-preamble signal; an IFFT unit (262) that performs an inverse fast Fourier transform on the subcarrier channel characteristics and outputs a time-domain channel impulse response; and a timing-update unit (263) that, on the basis of said channel impulse response, identifies and corrects any misalignment in the symbol timing.
