This communication device includes: a communication means for receiving, from another communication device, identification information for communication and belonging to the other communication device, and identification information for visual verification and belonging to the other communication device; a storage means for associating the identification information for communication and the identification information for visual verification received by the communication means with one another per communication device, and storing the same; a display means for displaying the identification information for visual verification received by the communication means; a receiving means for receiving selected identification information, which is identification information for visual verification that was selected from among the identification information for visual verification displayed by the display means; and a control means for specifying the identification information for communication that is associated with the selected identification information in the storage means as the identification information for communication belonging to a communication partner.
