Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a configuration which makes it possible to ensure a transmission opportunity for a wireless LAN communication device in cases involving transmission of a signal of a different format than that of the wireless LAN communication signal. [Solution] A communication device equipped with a signal processing unit for performing a reception determination about a second signal having a different format than that of a first signal for communication according to wireless LAN (Local Area Network) standards, a control unit for controlling a communication parameter or carrier sense on the basis of the second signal reception determination, and a communication unit for transmitting on the basis of the communication parameter or carrier sense which has undergone the abovementioned control.
