Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mechanism capable of suppressing confusion in communication using a local identifier.
[Solution] A communication device provided with a communication unit that receives a first signal addressed to another communication device and including first information specifying a local identifier used in a wireless local area network (LAN) and different from a global identifier, and transmits a second signal including second information specifying the local identifier specified from the first information included in the received first signal. A communication device provided with a communication unit that receives a second signal including second information specifying a local identifier used in a wireless local area network (LAN) and different from a global identifier, and transmits a third signal including third information specifying a local identifier assigned by the communication device itself.
