Abstract:
Provided are a communication device and a communication method for avoiding mutual interference between networks. The communication device is provided with: a communication unit that transmits/receives a radio frame; and a control unit that controls transmission/reception of a frame. The control unit controls transmission, to one or more target stations, of a trigger frame that induces transmission of a transmission suppression frame by using a transmission parameter (transmission electric power) designated for each target station. The communication device operates as a base station. The control unit selects, as target stations, one or more terminals that are under the control thereof and that are destinations to which a downlink signal is to be transmitted, and controls transmission of the trigger frame prior to transmission of the downlink signal.
