Abstract:
The present technology relates to a communication device and a communication method by which communication characteristics can be improved. Provided is a communication device disposed in a base station and being equipped with a control unit for determining the advisability of executing control of communication parameters of the base station on the basis of first communication state information regarding a communication state of the base station and second communication state information regarding a communication state received from another base station, and for determining the advisability of transmitting first control request information regarding a request to control communication parameters of the another base station on the basis of the first communication state information and the second communication state information. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a radio LAN system.
