Abstract:

A communication device that is provided with: a first communication unit that receives, from an external server, an output suppression message that gives instructions to suppress the output of a dispersed power source; a power management device that manages power for equipment that is installed at a customer facility; and a second communication unit that communicates a prescribed message that has a prescribed format. Suppression of the output of the dispersed power source is performed in accordance with the output suppression message by a conversion device that converts DC power that is outputted from the dispersed power source to AC power. The prescribed format includes an information element that can store at least one of first information, which relates to the state of communication with the conversion device, and second information, which relates to the circumstances of the acquisition of the output suppression message. The second communication unit transmits the prescribed message, which includes at least one of the first information and the second information as an information element, to the power management device.
