Abstract:
[Problem]
To provide a communication device and the like with which the relaying of signals between a first terminal device and a second terminal device can be ensured even when the line configuration differs between the first terminal device and the second terminal device.
[Solution]
A communication device having a reception unit, a descrambling unit, a detection unit, a generation unit, a scramble processing unit, and an output unit. The reception unit receives a signal from a first line. The descrambling unit performs a descrambling process on the received signal. The detection unit detects a control signal from the descrambled signal. The generation unit generates a signal wherein an idle signal in accordance with the difference in capacity between the communication capacity of a second line that is a transmission source and the communication capacity of the first line is inserted at the position where the control signal was detected. The scramble processing unit performs a scrambling process on the generated signal. The output unit outputs the scrambled signal to the second line.
