Abstract:
A communication system (500) is provided with a plurality of communication devices (100), and selects a grand master that will serve as a time benchmark from the plurality of communication devices (100). If a synchronization message that includes the time of the grand master is received from the grand master, a difference calculation unit (110) calculates the time difference between the time of the grand master and the time of a corresponding communication device (100). On the basis of the time difference, a correction unit (120) changes the counting speed of a time counter, which counts the time of said communication device (100), such that the time of said communication device (100) is synchronized with the time of the grand master when a preset time correction period elapses.
