Abstract:
At a parent terminal, a spreader unit selects a spreading code in order of shorter or order of longer code length from a code storage unit to generate a spread survival confirmation request using the selected spreading code, whereupon a transmission unit transmits a broadcast of the survival confirmation request to child terminals, and after receiving one or a plurality of receipt confirmations which have been returned from the child terminals, the spreader unit selects the spreading code used when spreading the transmission data to be transmitted to the child terminals which were the transmission origins of the received confirmations and the spreading code having the same code length as the shortest code length among the code lengths of the spreading codes used in each of the spreads of the one or the plurality of receipt confirmations that have been transmitted by the child terminals which were the transmission origins of the received confirmations.
