Abstract:
A communication device (20) according to the present application is connected to a first home electrical appliance (10). In the communication device (20), a first communication means uses a communication network (N1) to communicate with a management server (50). A second communication means uses a different communication medium (N2) from the communication network to communicate with a second communication device (20) that communicates with the management server (50) using the communication network (N1). A communication control means transmits appliance information related to the first home electrical appliance (10) to the management server (50) via the first communication means. If communication traffic via the first communication means is at or above an upper limit value, the communication control means transmits the appliance information to the second communication device (20) via the second communication means and requests to the second communication device (20) to transfer the transmitted appliance information to the management server (50).
