Abstract:
Provided are a communication device, a traffic control method, and a control program, by which an access destination to be selected as a new access destination for traffic control can be identified quickly and correctly. A determination part (13B) of the communication device (10) determines whether or not there is a change of trend in traffic volume. This determination is made on the basis of per-session traffic volumes of multiple non-controlled access destination sessions in a first unit period and a trend in the transition of the per-session traffic volumes of the multiple non-controlled access destination sessions in a first period prior to the first unit period. If it is determined that there is a change of trend in the traffic volumes, an identification part (13C) identifies an access destination to be selected as a new destination of access traffic control from among multiple non-controlled access destinations respectively corresponding to the multiple non-controlled access destination sessions. This identification is made on the basis of increase rates of the traffic volumes of the respective non-controlled access destination sessions in the first unit period and in a second period prior to the first unit period.
