Abstract:
Provided is a communication device capable of performing a process corresponding
to received data without instructing a process to be performed on the data received
from a mobile terminal. An Ir communication unit (12) receives data from the mobile
terminal, stores the received data in a RAM (11), and reports the reception of
the data to a control unit (10). The control unit (10) identifies the type of the
received data. If the received data contains telephone book data and other data,
the control unit (10) transmits the data other than the telephone book data in
the received data to a destination of the telephone book data. If the received
data contains only telephone book data, the telephone book data is written into
a flash memory (19) and stored. If the received data contains no telephone book
data, a process selected by a user is performed.
