Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a communication device with which good communication performance can be ensured even with a small window member.
[Solution] In a communication device (10), a metal case (11) disposed in a dangerous area (DA) accommodates a control board (14) and a sub-board (60) which is controlled by the control board (14). The sub-board (60) is capable of effecting non-contact communication with a communication appliance (6) located outside the case (11). The case (11) comprises at least two divided bodies, namely a first divided body (30) and a second divided body (40) which has an opening portion (43). A window member (50) made using an electrically insulating resin faces into the opening portion (43). The window member (50) and the sub-board (60) are provided integrally with the second divided body (40), and the sub-board (60) is located between the window member (50) and the control board (14).
