Abstract:

The present invention improves the performance of a communication device, or promotes a response to a new service form and the like. A portable terminal (10D) is a communication device that performs communication using visible light, and is provided with: a plurality of light emitting parts (13a) that are each disposed along a front face of the portable terminal (10D), and transmit a visible light signal; and a plurality of light receiving parts (14a) that are each disposed along the front face, and receive the visible light signal, wherein the plurality of light emitting parts (13a) are disposed on the left-hand side of all of the plurality of light receiving parts (14a), and the plurality of light receiving parts (14a) are disposed on the right-hand side of all of the plurality of light emitting parts (13a).
