Abstract:
In this communication device, the power for position determination and distance measurement that utilize wireless communication is reduced. A first communication device transmits and receives to/from a second communication device. The first communication device is provided with: a transmitting/receiving circuit which transmits and receives to/from the second communication device a determination signal, which is used to determine the position of the second communication device; and a UWB transmitting/receiving circuit which transmits and receives to/from the second communication device a distance measurement signal, which is used to measure the distance to the second communication device. The distance measurement signal is transmitted before transmission of the determination signal.
