Abstract:
A communication device (100), applicable to an optical communication device, a router, a switch, a server, or the like. The communication device (100) comprises a plurality of switch boards (120) and a plurality of line cards (110). The line cards (110) are used for receiving or generating signals, and the switch boards (120) are used for performing cross scheduling on the signals; each line card (110) is provided with at least one first signal connector, and each switch board (120) is provided with at least one second signal connector; a first signal connector of at least one first line card of the plurality of line cards (110) is connected to second signal connectors of at least two first switch boards in the plurality of switch boards (120) via at least two first signal lines. The line cards (110) are provided with the signal connectors, and the line cards are connected to the plurality of switch boards (120) by means of the signal connectors, thereby reducing the complexity of installation and maintenance of the line cards (110) and the switch boards (120) while improving the integration level of the communication device, and reducing installation and maintenance costs.
