Abstract:
An HEMS controller 14 receives a certificate revocation list which has been distributed from an authentication station server 20 and which lists serial numbers of digital certificates that have been revoked. The serial number of a digital certificate comprises: a first identification section that indicates a value for identifying the type of a participation node 16 that holds the digital certificate; and a second identification section that indicates a value for identifying each participation node 16. In the case when the certificate revocation list contains a serial number having a prescribed value in the second identification section, the HEMS controller 14 determines that the digital certificate of the participation node 16 corresponding to the type indicated by the first identification section of said serial number is invalid.
