Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a communication method and apparatus, and a device. The method comprises: after receiving a first message from a first device, a first relay device sending a second message to a second device according to the first message, wherein the first message includes indication information of the second device, or there is a correspondence between a destination address of the first message and the second device. The first device is a session management function, and the second device is a user plane function; or, the first device is a user plane function, and the second device is a session management function. In the solution, a session management function interacts with a user plane function by means of a first relay device, such that the reliability of the communication between the session management function and the user plane function can be improved.
