Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method, a communication apparatus, and a system, capable of supporting multiple transmission forms. The method comprises: sending a PMI and an RI, the PMI and the RI being used for indicating a precoding matrix in a codebook, and the rank of the precoding matrix being greater than 1, wherein the codebook comprises at least two of first-type precoding matrices, second-type precoding matrices, and third-type precoding matrices; each column vector of any matrix in the first-type precoding matrices merely comprises one nonzero element, and nonzero elements of any two column vectors are located in different rows; at least one column vector of any matrix in the second-type precoding matrices comprises at least one zero element and at least two nonzero elements; each element in any matrix in the third-type precoding matrices is a nonzero element, and any two column vectors of any matrix in the third-type precoding matrices are orthogonal to each other.
