Abstract:

Disclosed are a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a mobility management network element receives a registration request message from a terminal, the registration request message being used for the terminal to request vehicle-to-everything (V2X) configuration parameters, the V2X configuration parameters being used for the terminal to perform a V2X service; the mobility management network element sends a parameter request message to a V2X parameter configuration network element according to the registration request message, the parameter request message being used for requesting the V2X configuration parameters for the terminal from the V2X parameter configuration network element; the mobility management network element receives the V2X configuration parameters from the V2X parameter configuration network element, and sends the V2X configuration parameters to the terminal. The present application helps to increase the security of the V2X service.
