Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method and apparatus for determining the effective time of timing advance (TA). The method comprises: determining a first subcarrier interval from M subcarrier intervals, wherein the M subcarrier intervals are the subcarrier intervals corresponding to L carriers employed by the terminal device, where L≥M≥2; and determining the effective time of timing advance (TA) of each carrier in the L carriers according to the first subcarrier interval. Uplink timing synchronization between a terminal device and a network device can be ensured.
