Abstract:

A communication method and apparatus, used for flexibly configuring uplink non-scheduled resources during uplink non-scheduled transmission. The method comprises: a terminal device receives a timing advance from a network device and, on the basis of the timing advance, the terminal device resets the effective duration of pre-configured uplink resources. The terminal device does not need to wait for the effective duration of the pre-configured uplink resources to expire before updating the effective duration of the pre-configured uplink resources, and can actively reset the effective duration of the pre-configured uplink resources, such that configuration of the effective duration of the pre-configured uplink resources is more flexible, thereby increasing the flexibility of configuring uplink non-scheduled resources. In addition, when receiving the timing advance sent by the network device, the terminal device can determine that the timing advance at that time is effective and, when the timing advance is effective, can certainly use the pre-configured uplink resources and reset the effective duration of the pre-configured uplink resources at that time, extending the usage time of the pre-configured uplink resources to the greatest extent.
