Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving first indication information, the first indication information being used for indicating a first time-frequency resource, the first indication information comprising first information, the first information being used for indicating whether a terminal device performs silent uplink data transmission on the first time-frequency resource; and if it is determined according to the first information that the terminal device performs silent uplink data transmission on the first time-frequency resource, performing silent uplink data transmission on the first time-frequency resource. In the embodiments of the present application, different functions can be indicated only by indication information of one format, so that the system design is simplified, the signaling overhead is saved, and the communication efficiency is improved; furthermore, the execution of incorrect operations by the terminal device can be prevented.
