Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. A network device schedules the symbol occupancy of a common message according to the principle of "spread spectrum domain, compression time domain", helping to improve the power saving gain of the network device by reducing the occupancy of a common message in a time domain. The communication method comprises: a network device determining a first resource, the first resource corresponding to, in a time domain, some time units in a first time domain unit, the first time domain unit comprising at least one time unit, wherein the number of time units corresponding to the first resource is less than the number of time units included in the first time domain unit; and the network device sending a common message on the first resource.
