Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method comprises: an access network device receives first configuration information, the first configuration information being used for instructing a terminal device to perform quality of experience (QoE) measurement of an application layer; the access network device generates second configuration information, the second configuration information being used for instructing, by the access network device, the terminal device to report the measurement result of at least a part of measured amounts obtained by means of the QoE measurement; the access network device sends to the terminal device the first configuration information and the second configuration information. Therefore, in embodiments of the present application, the access network device sends the second configuration information to the terminal device to achieve that the access network device instructs the terminal device to report the measurement result of at least a part of the measured amounts obtained when the terminal device performs the QoE measurement, so that the access network device can sense the measurement result of the QoE measurement.
