Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and apparatus, which are used for improving the communication performance of a terminal device, and are applicable to the fields of V2X, the Internet of Vehicles, intelligent driving, intelligent networked vehicles, etc. The method comprises: receiving first information at a first frequency, wherein the first information is used for indicating a first resource of a first terminal device at a second frequency, and the second frequency is higher than the first frequency; and determining a second resource on the basis of the first resource, and sending data at the second frequency by using the determined second resource, wherein the second resource is used for sending data at the second frequency. By means of the solution in the method, an indication of resource reservation at a second frequency can be quickly and effectively implemented, and by means of indicating, at a first frequency, a resource at the second frequency, there is no need to perform beam scanning, such that the detection duration can be shortened, and the time for resource selection can thus be shortened. Moreover, the possibility of missing first information can be reduced, such that the system performance when working at the second frequency can be improved.
