Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and apparatus, which are used for improving the transmission efficiency by means of the transmission mode of a distributed resource unit (DRU), and also for making a long training field (LTF) contained in a TB PPDU, which is transmitted on the basis of the DRU, have a relatively low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), so as to improve the system performance. The method comprises: an STA receiving a trigger frame, wherein the trigger frame comprises DRU instruction information, and the DRU instruction information is used for instructing the STA to send a DRU, which is used by a TB PPDU; and the STA sending the TB PPDU on the DRU, wherein the TB PPDU comprises a long training field (LTF). The present application is applied to a wireless local area network system which supports IEEE 802.11ax next-generation WiFi protocols such as 802.11be, or 802.11 series protocols such as EHT.
