Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and apparatus, the method being applied to a terminal device. The terminal device comprises a first multicast radio bearer (MRB), the first MRB comprising a first packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity and a first RLC entity, the first RLC entity using an acknowledgement mode (AM). The method comprises: the terminal device receives first instruction information sent by a source node, the first instruction information instructing that a receiving window of the first PDCP entity is adjusted when the first PDCP entity is reconstructed; and the terminal device adjusts the receiving window of the first PDCP entity according to the first instruction information. By means of the present invention, the terminal device configured with the AM MRB can normally receive the data of a multicast service when nodes are switched, so that data packet loss is avoided, the continuity of the multicast service and the reliability of a multicast propagation mode are improved, and the user experience is improved.
