Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a communication method and apparatus. In the communication method, an access network device sends first information, the first information comprising a first parameter for determining a first frequency point at which the access network device sends a synchronization signal, wherein the frequency of the first frequency point satisfies the following formula: N * 1200 kHz + M * 50 kHz, wherein N is any integer from 1 to 2499, and M is the first parameter; and a terminal device receives the first information from the access network device, determines the first parameter, and determines, according to the first parameter, the first frequency point at which the access network device sends the synchronization signal, so that the terminal device can accurately determine, according to the first parameter, the frequency point at which the access network device sends the synchronization signal, so as to avoid the occurrence of the problem of frequency point aliasing in the terminal device.
