Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a communication method and apparatus, which are used for improving the transmission performance of a feedback-based communication system. The method can be implemented by means of the following steps: outputting a first bit sequence, the first bit sequence being obtained by encoding a bit sequence to be encoded; according to feedback information from a receiving end and the bit sequence to be encoded, determining a bit sequence obtained from erroneous decoding of the receiving end; and determining a second bit sequence according to the bit sequence obtained from the erroneous decoding of the receiving end, and outputting the second bit sequence. By means of the method, the feedback information feeds back more information to a sending end, so that the sending end can determine bits obtained from the erroneous decoding of the receiving end, and the sending end can perform a more targeted retransmission, thereby improving the error correction capability of the receiving end, and improving the transmission performance.
