Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device determining that both a first search space set on a first bandwidth part (BWP) and a second search space set on a second BWP are associated with a first radio network temporary identity (RNTI); when the first BWP is an active BWP, the terminal device monitoring, in the first search space set, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scrambled by the first RNTI; and when the second BWP is an active BWP, the terminal device determining not to monitor, in the second search space set, the PDCCH scrambled by the first RNTI. By means of the embodiments of the present application, the resource overheads can be reduced and the power consumption of a network device can be reduced, thereby improving the resource utilization efficiency.
